2023

Jampon hosted their first event in New York at The Center on October 7, 2023.

The event featured local NYC performers, artists, poets, and musicians. Jampon's partner New Alternatives spoke on the need for accessible resources for the unhoused community in New York and their own specific impact.

The event raised $1,800 and 3,400 menstrual products, all which were donated to New Alternatives.

PERFORMERS AND ARTISTS

Jampon was incredibly lucky to have so many amazing performers and artists, who donated their time and talents to fundraise this special cause.

We want to thank all who showcased their skills. Check out some of our performers.

the
CENTER

Part of Jampon's mission is bringing education and awareness to all the communities affected by menstruation. While widely regarded as a 'woman's issue', Jampon understands that isn't representational of all the lives affectedby periods. That is why we're hosted our first Jam at the Center.

The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, & Transgender Community (The Center) was established in 1983 at the height of the AIDS crisis to provide a safe and affirming place for LGBTQ+ New Yorkers. Jampon is proud to work with the Center to jam to end period poverty.
